India Republic Day -- Nowadays, India celebrated its 70th Republic Day. The bash began wi
th the ceremonial ornement at Rajpath, amid small security in Delhi. Excellent Minister Narendra Modi paid his tributes to the martyrs by laying a wreath at Amar Jawan Jyoti in the presence of Protection Minister Nirmala Sitharaman plus the three service chiefs. India's military might had been also on display, with all the artillery gun system M777 American Ultra Light Howitzers, recently acquired from the US ALL, and K9 Vajra, a new self-propelled artillery gun, displayed on Rajpath, being brand new additions this year.
'Nari Sha kti' (women power) was in full display on the etiqueta boulevard with an all-woman Assam Rifles contingent creating background this year by participating initially in the parade, which was guided by Maj Khushboo Kanwar.
Contingents of the Navy, Military Service Corps and a model of Corps of Alerts (transportable satellite terminal) ended up led by women representatives too, as the crowd cheered.
The march began together with showering of flower petals by helicopters led from the p arade commander, parade second-in-command and Param Vir Chakra and Ashoka Chakra awardees.
The Indian Army's T-90 tank, Ballway Machine Pikate (BMP-II/IIK), Surface Mine Liberating System, 155 mm/52 Trascendencia Tracked Self-propelled Gun (K-9 Vajra), Transportable Satellite Fatal, Troop Level Radar along with Akash Weapon System were also showcased at the parade.
